Course Overview
Students learn practical skills of daily economic life, awareness of their own values, and economic decision making. Covers how to use a checking account, figure credit cost, rent an apartment, buy food and clothes wisely, buy a car, buy different kinds of insurance, and pay taxes. Includes a brief introduction to capitalism and consumer rights. This course fulfills the Indiana state standards for the financial literacy requirement.
